1.5.7.1. Engine oil identification
THE GENERAL DATA

Choose engine oil which corresponds to standards. The designations resulted more low, are put on capacities with oil for simplification of a choice of correct oil.

 1. The top part designates the quality of oil expressed by designations, accepted API.

2. In the centre the designation of viscosity of oil is resulted.

3. The bottom part shows that the given engine oil promotes economy of fuel.


Transmission

Mechanical transmission

Synthetic трансмиссионное oil G 50, SAE 75/W90 (Mil-L-2105 or API/GL 4)

Differential on the back bridge

Oil with гипоидными additives SAE 90 (Mil-L-2105B or API/GL 5)

Automatic transmission

Liquid of automatic transmission Dextron (for the hydrotransformer and SAE 90 (Mil-L-2105B or API/GL 5) for the main transfer.

System of the hydraulic booster of a steering and brakes

Hydraulic liquid of firm Audi detail G 002 000 or similar to it.

Additives to oils

Firm Audi does not recommend to use an additive to oils.
